Study on the Synchronous Development of the Vascular System and the Leaves and Tillers of Winter Wheat Plant

本文通过对冬小麦短缩茎维管系统结构及其发育进程的连续观察,阐明了茎内维管系统在小麦叶蘖生长,尤其叶蘖同伸规律中的作用。

The anatomical structure and the process of development of the vascular system ofwheat seedling was studied through the observation of serial cross sections. The results indi-cated that the vascular sustems played an important role in the growth of the seedling. Itcould also explain, to a certain extent, the synchronous development of the leaves and tillers.
