Wandering With Melancholy for the Autumn——On Melancholy for the Autumn in Du Fu's Poems on Rain

悲秋是中国文学史上的永恒主题,杜甫笔下亦有不少荡气回肠、慷慨悲怆的悲秋高唱。在杜甫的雨诗中,他的悲秋意识主要表现为漂泊人生和风雨江山两方面。在苍凉的雨景中,弥漫了诗人深沉浓郁的悲秋情怀。

Autumal Melancholy has been one of the eternal themes throughout the history of Chinese literature. The great poet, Du Fu, composed a number of solemn and stirring strains with such a theme. Rather than in those known as Autumnal Elegies, the author tries to seek the strong and profound melancholy of the great poet for Autumn in his poems on rain, in which his melancholy for the Autumn is revealed by lamenting his own wandering life and the turbulent political situation of his country. Throughout, the chilly rain depicted by Du Fu spreads the and strong melancholic feelings of the great poet.
