This article has expounded the operational condition and existent pr oblems of HP heater of 300MW turbine unit. It also analysed the cause of high te mperature difference and economic effect of temperature difference on turbine pe rformance. The article has put forward measures to advance HP heater operation. At last,it compare the performance characteristics of HP heater before and after improvement。
