Krugman′s New Ideas on International Trade and Their Implications

保罗·克鲁格曼的战略贸易理论是对近20年国际经济贸易领域内出现的不完全竞争问题的研究,因此,对当前经济政策的制定有着很强的现实意义。通过重点分析保罗·克鲁格曼经济理论及其政策主张对我国的借鉴意义,认为国家保护民族产业,应鼓励企业扩大生产规模,产生规模经济效益,促进企业扩大国际市场份额。

Paul Krugman′s theory on strategic trade policy is a very important part of the study of imperfect competition dominating the field of international trade theory in recent 20 years. It has strong implications for the making of economic and trade policy. This paper is centred on the analysis of Krugman's new ideas of trade theory, their implications for policymaking and the conclusions we can draw from them. Within the Chinaspecific situation, the Chinese government can play a significant role in protecting domestic industries and encouraging businesses to expand their size in order to realize their economy of scale and increase their share in the global market.
