After WTO entry of China, the developed countries ask our country to practice trade liberalization, however the trade protection of the developed co untries is variegated. The strategic trade theory and the competitive superiorit y theory tall us that our country must improve the trade structure, take active part in the international division of labor, speed up the establishment of the p roduct market and the production factor market, perfect the policies and laws, a nd create a good external environment for enterprises' competition. And our coun try should pay attention to the promoting effect of the trade policies on the ra pid development of the national economy, lay stress on theoretical study and res earch, and work out the trade policies fitting in with Chinese reality.
