To make a thorough reform of the register regulation for the realization of freedom of transfer can contribute to the development and stability of our society.This paper analyses the register regulations since the founding of the People's Republic of China and makes a summary of its advantages and disadvantages which such a traditional system has. Moreover, at the end of the essay, this paper proposes some constructive suggestions.
