A method to realize the communication based on TCP/IP in a real time monitoring instrument for industrial devices is introduced.The methods to load PC/TCP Kernel for DOS to enable communication based on TCP/IP protocol in DOS,and to make use of Socket for DOS net programming interface to design communication application program are described.The instance of the application in a real time monitoring instrument is given.
