A New Page of Anthropology and Ethnology in China

将于 2 0 0 8年在我国召开的国际人类学与民族学联合会第十六届世界大会 ,有利于推动我国人类学民族学研究的发展 ,有利于进一步宣传、展示我国的民族政策和民族工作成就 ,有利于促进国际文化和经济交流 ,有利于我国各民族文化的发展和促进各民族之间的相互尊重和理解。

The 16th World Meeting of International Association of Anthropology and Ethnology will be held in China in 2008. It will facilitate the study of anthropology and ethnology in China, and will make a better display of China's achievement in national policy and work. Besides, the meeting will promote international cultural and economic exchanges and will also develop Chinese national cultures and deepen the mutual respects and understanding among various nationalities in China.
