Stokes矢量在全息光弹性中的应用

摘要 在全息光弹性中计算再现虚像的光强分布巳广泛地采用了Jones矢量和矩阵的方法,虽然这一方法比较直观易做,但完全的矩阵运算仍感冗长乏味。本文根据偏振光的各种矩阵描述法之间的关系,导出了一个用Stokes矢量表示的计算全息光弹光强分布的普遍公式。利用此式可使一般和偏振全息光弹性中光强的矩阵运算简化为Stokes矢量的标积运算,此外,这一公式不仅可用于一次曝光还能用于两次曝光的全息光弹性,最后给出了一些典型的例子。 The method of Jones vector and matrix has been widely used for calculating light-intensity distribution of the reconstructed virtual image in holophotoelasticity. Although this method is straight-forward it is tedious to calculate fully by use of matrix method, In this paper, according to the relationship among various kinds of representation of polarized light, a general expression in terms of Stokes vectors for calculating light-intensity distribution in holophotoelasticity is derived. By use of this expression the calculation of light-intensity distribution in either conventional or the so-called polarization holophotoelasticity can be simplified by changing matrix calculus into scalar product of two Stokes vectors. Moreover, this expression can be applied to single-exposure as well as double-exposure holophotoelasticity. Finally some typical examples are given.
