The orthodox standpoint of the philosophy of biology emphasizes the fundamental difference between biology and physics,and puts particularity and universality into absolute opposition. This article makes clear through the analysis of case that the universal principle of the philosophy of science,such as the MSRP,is still in effect in the biology theory,such as Morgan's genetics.The key problem is whether we can put it into practice adaptably.
