The Present condition and Future prospect of Olympic Education in Chinese Colleges

采用综合研究方法对 372所高校奥林匹克教育现状进行分层抽样调查 ,以全面了解和正确展望中国高校奥林匹克教育的现状与发展趋势 ,更好地推广和开展适合大学生身心特点的奥林匹克教育 ,促进奥林匹克教育在中国高校发展。随着中国经济和社会特别是高等教育的发展 ,奥林匹克运动在中国高校会更加普及 ,更加深入人心。奥林匹克主义、奥林匹克精神、奥林匹克宗旨和奥林匹克理想将给中国当代大学生予以新的启迪和鼓舞。

A study was made on the basis of different levels of the present condition of Olympic education in 372 colleges and universities, with a view to obtaining a comprehesive grasp of re present condition in the Chinese institutes of higher learning as well as a prospect of future development in terms of Olympic education, so that Olympic sports fit for college students may be better developed on a large scale. With the rapid growth of Chinas economy and, especially, wlt the development of Chinese institutes of higher learning, Olympic sports will be more popularized . And the Olympic ideal, spirit and good will give some new revelation and encucagement to the Chinese college students today.
