Evaluation and measurement of IL-8 in patients with infectivity atypical pneumonia

目的观察SARS患者血清白介素(IL-8)含量变化。方法用放射免疫法检测了66例SARS患者血清IL-8含量,与正常对照组作了比较。结果患者IL-8含量明显高于对照组,恢复期血清IL-8含量变化多样。结论SARS患者存在免疫反应异常,血清IL-8含量变化可能在SARS发病机制中起重要作用。

Objective: To observe the levels of serum IL-8 in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Methods: The levels of serum IL-8 in 66 patients with servere acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) were measured by RIA, and compared with controls. Results: Levels of serum IL-8 in patients with SARS were significantly higher than those in controls, The level of IL-8 was various in convalescence. Conclusion: There is immunoreaction abnormity in patients with SARS, The change of IL-8 in patients with SARS may play an important role on pathogenesis.
