The B6 and B6A ice-cooled cars are the main types of cars for railway refrigeration transport. The cars have such advantages as simple structure, low cost and ice station (auxiliary system around the country). But adding salt in ice is corrosive to the cars and track, and the cars have reached or nearly reached the limit date of scrapping. Therefore, the replacement of the ice-cooled cars in railway transport should be placed on the agenda.
