The article takes a way of record. In the background of society, economy and politics of New York, the evolvement of Central Park has been described in a detailed and vivid way, which is thought to be clear. From the promotion of the bill to the production of the design, as well as the events during the construction and rebuild of Central Park, the intention of the design and the attitude of people have lead a parallel way, from which we can sight a humanistic, historical and social urban environment in such a dense and blatant metropolis.
