摘要
利用微分几何知识给出了一个保证曲面片二阶几何连续(GC^2)的条件。所给出的方法同样适用于公共交界曲线正好是曲面渐近线这种特殊情况。
The problem of joining surface patches smothly is of great importance m the area of Computer Aided Geometric Design(CAGD). Using the differential geometric approach,The condiuon which ensures GC^2 continuity between two adjacent vector valued surface patches has been presented. Since the given method is also suitable for the special case that the common boundary carve is an asymptotic line of the surface, it makes up the theoretical deficiency in [1].
