1991年化工系统完成工业总产值1519.3亿元,比上年增长9%;实现利税132.5亿元,比上年增长2.6%。列入国家计划的16种主要化工产品产量,全部完成年计划。固定资产投资完成163.5亿元,增长18.5%。在国家“七五”科技攻关奖励大会上,获45项国家级科技奖。全行业1991年又有14项国家科技进步奖、148项部级科技进步奖。化工出口创汇额比上年增长9%,化工出口产值达102.1亿元。1991年化工行业经济效益下降局面尚未得到根本改变。
