THE TOURIST EXPLOITATION IN NORTHEASTERN BORDER AREAS IN CHINA

边疆旅游是旅游业发展中一枝新秀。它会促进边疆经济和贸易的发展,文化和信息的交流。东北边疆有着得天独厚的地理条件,为发展边疆旅游业打下好的基础。近几年,黑河、满洲里、绥芬河、丹东已取得成功的经验,对边疆区域旅游开发应做一系列理论与实践的研究。

Border areas in Northeast China stretch for about 5000km. along the boundary line among China, U. S. S. R. ,D. P. R. K. and Mongolia. In the paper have been discussed regional conditions of tourist development, the construction of major tourist regions and several problems of tourist exploitation in the areas. 1. regional conditions of tourist development in the areas (1) Landscapes of ring structure consisting of the mountain, river and forest have primitive, harmonious, natural beauty, reflecting characteristics of a typical northern scene. (2) There are 29 cities and counties in which there are 25 pairs of cities and towns among the four countries along border areas of 5000kin. (3) The tourist mainly consists of the people in the border areas, Hongkong, Aomen, Taiwan province, Japan and R. O. K. 2. the construction of major tourist regions (1) the tourist region in Dandong city (2) the tourist region in Ji an city (3) the tourist region in Mt. Changbai (4) the tourist region in Jingbe Lake (5) the tourist region in Xingkai lake (6) the tourist region in Wudalianchi (7) the tourist region in Black River (8) the tourist region in Hulunbeir grassland (9) the tourist region in Aershan(hot spring) In the above 9 regions, some of them are important in the world, e.g. Ji an city used to be the capital of the Gaogouli State, the Hao Tai King Stone Tablet is known as the first Stone Tablet of the East, there is also the General Tomb, which, in appearance, resembles the pyramids in Egypt and Mexicao, as to Mr. Changbai, it is a natural nature museum with boundless primitive forests, the vast mountain lake, the powerful waterfall and the hot springs. 3. several problems of tourist exploitation in the areas (1) improvement of communication conditions in the areas (2) developing tourism of the exchange of commodities and the tourism of entry in he 3rd country on the basis of a day tour (3) developing the production of tourist products (4) conservation of ecological environment and tourist resources
