摘要
美国戏剧大师尤金·奥尼尔站在爱尔兰家庭传统的立场上,接受了希腊神话中的悲剧意识、尼采和弗洛伊德的思想与存在主义的学说,并根据自己的人生体验,以悲剧的形式完美地表达了他对人与人性、人类命运和人类精神的探求,从而形成了自己的悲剧特色。
Eugene O'Neill, the great American playwright, absorbing the sense of tragedy in Greece Mythology, the ideas of Nietzsche and Freud and Existentialism on the basis of his Irish family tradition, perfectly expresses his exploration of man and his nature, human fate and human spirit in the form of tragedy, forming the characteristics of O'Neill's tragedy.
