刘再复将人物命名为“对象主体” ,但他们仍然是作家的对立面 ,原因在于刘再复将主体性框架作为其理论基础。如今人物被视为与作者、读者共存的相对独立的主体 ,他们彼此进行平等的交流。

In Liu Zaifu's opinion, the literary subject includes writers, characters and readers. He named characters as 'objective subject'. This is a paradox. Although characters were looked as 'objective subject', they would remain as object opposing the writer, for Liu Zaifu based his theory on the frame of subjectivity. The new frame of intersubjectivity gives us a chance to solve the problem. Now characters are looked as relatively independent subject. They are co-existed with writers and readers, enjoy an fair communication between each other.
