新《保险法》顺应了入世后保险业开放和竞争的新形势,加强了对被保险人利益的保护和对保险机构的监管力度,这既是我国对入世承诺的履行,也是推进保险市场化改革进程、促进保险业与国际接轨的需要。

In order to meet the new situation of a more open and competitive insuranceindustry after China's entry into WTO, the new Insurance Law has intensified the protection of the interests of the insured and the supervision of the insurance industry, which is part of the China's commitments to WTO as well as the need for further reform towards marketization and globalization of the insurance industry.
