With the development of low temperature turbo-expander with high speed gas bearings and high efficiency compact heat exchanger, Reverse-Brayton air refrigerator has better foreground in the field of refrigeration and cryogenics. To study the performances of Reverse-Brayton cycle air refrigerator, low temperature turbo expander and heat exchanger, the Reverse-Brayton air refrigerator with 30Nm 3/hr small turbine has been established by Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong.
