我国的商业医疗保险发展慢、规模小,但其潜力巨大,前景广阔,具体体现在:社会医疗保险给商业医疗保险留下了巨大的空间;城乡居民对医疗保险需求旺盛;与外国、外地区相比,我国商业医疗保险普及率太低;商业医疗保险占GDP的比重太小。

The Commercial Medical Insurance in China develops slowly and the scale of it is small. But it shows the big potential and the broad prospects. To be exact, the Social Medical Insurance can not meet people's need to medical insurance, so there's enormous room for the development of Commercial Medical Insurance. The need of people in urban and suburb is flourishing. Compared with other countries and districts the Commercial Medical Insurance has not been accepted widely by citizens. The proportion of Commercial Medical Insurance in GDP is very small.
