建立电子化政府,提高行政效率,已经成为发展国民经济和国家信息化建设的一个十分紧迫的任务。本文针对中国政府信息化事业基础结构薄弱、政府信息化与政府改革的整合问题、政府信息公开和政府信息低度使用问题,从多角度进行剖析和说明,从四个方面论述了我国政府信息化目标定位问题。

It is an urgent task for development of the national economy and improvement of IT application to introduce e-government and uplift administrative efficiency.The article gives an elaboration on such issues related to e-gevernment as the weakness of the basic structure of IT application in China,the integration of government information with government reforms,keeping government affairs known to the public and the low rate of utilization of government information.
