摘要
英语中的句法歧义是一种较常见,同时也是较复杂的歧义现象,指句子的各组成部分可以有 不同的组合方式而产生的歧义。修饰关系不明、比较结构的简略、并列成分、某些词的特殊句法功能 等常引起英语句法歧义。分析和研究英语句法歧义能给教学、交际等带来较大的帮助。
Syntactic ambiguity is a complex phenomenon found in all languages. It refers to the ambiguity caused by different ways of combination of the constituents in the sentence. English syntactic ambiguity is caused by unspecified head - modified relation, improper ellipsis, combinatory coordination and special syntactic functions of some words. It can be a great help in teaching, communication for us to analyze and study English syntactic ambiguity.
