Two Types of Idiopathic Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism(IHH)

两例男性IHH患者性幼稚的程度不同,例1睾丸容积10ml,例2为2ml。12hLH脉冲分析表明,前者夜间入睡后出现分泌脉冲,和正常人相似,但是白天无分泌脉冲;后者白天和夜间都没有分泌脉冲。这一结果表明,睾丸大小的差别代表着两种不同类型的IHH。

Two men with IHH showed different extent of hypogonadism. the testicular valumn was 10ml in case 1, and 2ml in case 2. the analysis of 12 hours of LH pulsatile secretion revealed that case 1 had LH pulses during the sleeping hours at night, which was similar to normal subiect. However, no pulses were found during the day hours; and case 2 had no pulse at all regardless of day or night. it was. conclud that the different size of testis in patients with IHH represented two types of IHH.
