《齐民要术》是我国古代保存下来的第一部综合性农书,具有极高的学术价值。通过对其中包涵的林业思想进行了简要的分析、归纳和总结,指出了它对今天的林业和农村经济发展及农民增收的现实意义;并对其中的林业技术进行了梳理和介绍,突出了林业在农村经济中的重要位置。

Important Means of Subsistence for Common People'is the first synthesis Agriculture Literature preserved in Chinese History which has extraordinary science value.This article briefly analyze, conclude and summarize the forestry thoughts among this book; and point out its practical sense to forestry , rural economics development and the increase of income of peasants. It also introduce and comb the forestry technology,extrude the important station of forestry in rural economics.
