伊斯兰教传入中国1300年,在中国多民族社会中具有广泛而深刻的影响。家族是传统社会构成的重要元素之一,由于特殊的政治、地理、民族、宗教等原因,家族,特别是具有相应的政界、军界、商界和宗教背景的穆斯林大家族,在西北社会中的权重明显地高于国内其它地区。作为一种历史和社会的惯性现象,习惯势力的延续性在当今社会仍不可低估。

Islam, which has been introduced into China for 1,300 years, exerted a great influence on China. Clan, an important ingredient of traditional society, especially the great Muslim clan with political, military, business and religious background in northwest China seems more important than in other areas. The inertia force by custom should not be ignored.
