论《管子·轻重》抑商贾及其君主专制实质

On the Ideas of the Chapter "Qingzhong" in Guanzi: Inhibiting the Businessman and Supporting the Autocratic Monarchy

《管子·轻重》从人性好利论出发,分析了利益集中体现的场所——市场对治国的作用,并得出商贾与君主专制对立的结论,从而提出了一系列打击商贾的措施,包括:垄断货币、盐铁专营、官营商业、排斥商贾对农民的盘剥乃至用政治强权直接剥夺他们的财富等等;其抑商贾思想集中体现了君主专制主义的实质,并最终破坏了市场。《管子·轻重》长期受到重视的原因即在于此。

Guanzi in the chapter of 'Qingzhong' asserted that the businessmen was contrary to an autocratic monarchy by analyzing the market's position for a government from the standpoint of the humanity fondness for benifits. Moreover, it provided a series of measures for the government to inhibit the businessmen, sach as monoplizing money, monoplizing salt and iron's selling, inhibiting the bussinessmen to exploit the farmers, and even depriving the bussinessman's wealth. It supported the autocratic monarchy to inhibit the bussinessmen which is the reason for it's being regarded as important for a long time in ancient China.
