The Arrangement and Evolvement of Modern Chinese Intellectual Property Right System

从19世纪80年代中期开始,中国开始了经济近代化的过程。近代中国的知识产权制度是从西方移植而来的,在一定程度上提高了人们的自主创新和知识产权保护意识,促进了技术进步和工商业的发展。但由于近代中国的知识产权制度的安排与变迁不是自发地在传统社会内部完成的,因此,对近代中国经济的促进作用并没有收到应有的效果。

China had begun the process of economic modernization since the mid 1880's. Chinese intellectual property right system was introduced from the western world, underwent a hard process. The establishment and development of modern Chinese intellectual property system, to some extent, promoted the people's innovative ideas and protection of intellectual property right, thus improved the development of technology and business industry. However, the arrangement and evolvement of the intellectual property right system was not fulfilled spontaneously and inwardly in the traditional society, and thus its improvement to modern Chinese economy had not reached the expectant effect.
