《第一个人》的写作是加缪创作的一次未完成的精神返乡。作为加缪创作的最后的杰作,《第一个人》的精神返乡是加缪走出"局外人"的孤独和冷漠,走向"纯洁时代"的精神王国的一次艰难的精神旅行。《第一个人》重返故乡的"寻父"意向预示着加缪在精神上渴望从自己的诞生地寻求教益,从而摆脱那种无乡飘泊的精神危机的努力和尝试。
The writing of The First Man is an unfinished Returning Home Spiritually in Camus's creations. The First Man is one rigidly spiritual travel of Camus, who looks forward to the spiritual kingdom of Pure Times. The intention of Looking For His Father in The First Man indicates Camus's endeavor and attempt to seek for spiritual inculcation from his own birthplace, so as to get rid of the loneliness of The Stranger and the spiritual crisis of Camus's works characterized by Drifting Without Homeland.
