A piece of cylindrical microlens is used to collimate the output radiation of a laser diode bar in the fast axis direction.The emissions of the laser diode bar are coupled into multimode fiber array.A laser diode bar has 19 stripes,which consist of a broad area emitting aperture commonly 1μm by 100μm.The output power of laser diode bar is 40W.Total coupling efficiency and fiber output power are 75% and 30W,respectively.The numerical aperture of fiber is 0 11.
