Study on Water Resources Carrying Capacity of Baiyangdian Lake

白洋淀作为华北地区重要的淡水湿地系统,从水量上来讲,只有在丰水年和平水年基本可以满足该地区现有社会和经济发展对水资源量的需求,而从水环境角度来看,水污染严重,水质已普遍超过 类标准,因此水资源承载力很低。在近年来持续枯水年的前提下,该地区面临严峻的资源型和水质型缺水危机,而解决危机的根本途径是"开源节流、治理污染"。

Baiyangdian Lake is an important fresh wetland system in North China.From quantity aspect,the water resources in the lake is basically sufficient to meet the demand of eco-system and socio-economic development around the lake area only in the year with abundant precipitation and normal year.But the water body was polluted badly,so as to a majority of water quality samples exceed the III kind of national standard,and the indicator of water resources carrying capacity keeps a lower level.Lacking water would be a serious problem from water resources or water quality aspect under present condition of continued dry weather.The key ways to solve the problem are increasing income,decreasing expenditure and pollution control.
