Synthesis of 2,2-Diethoxyethanol

以 4 0 %乙二醛水溶液为原料 ,经缩醛化、氯代、碱性水解 ,再经硼氢化钠还原生成 2 ,2 二乙氧基乙醇 ,总收率 36 %。其结构经IR 。

2,2-Diethoxyethanol with the total yield of 36% was synthesized from glyoxal (40 wt.% solution in water) via acetalation, chlorination, hydrolyzation under the base,then reduction with NaBH 4. The structure of it was confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and MS(ESI).
