cis-stilbenes with high yield(~90% selectivity) was synthesized from aryl aldehyde tosylhydrazones salts using ruthenium(Ⅱ) porphyrins as a catalyst. The structure of sectional intermediates and the products were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13 C NMR and MS.
