摘要
作为英美新批评理论中的两个重要概念,反讽与悖论的本质作用是制造"意在言外"的艺术效果,所以也可借用来分析张天翼的讽刺小说。张天翼善于选择不同的角度来展现他笔下四类讽刺对象的思想实质和精神面貌,并创造性地运用了反讽和悖论,由此产生的场景反讽、情节反讽、叙事者悖论和悖论式语言情境成就了张天翼小说独特的讽刺艺术。
As two main concepts of the British-American new critics, irony and absurdity can create such artistic effect as “the implied meaning”, therefore it can be utilized to analyze ZHANG Tian-yi’s novels. Mr. Zhang is an expert at presenting the mental outlooks of the four ironical objects from different angles by creatively using irony and absurdity, thus it produces scene irony, plot irony, narrator’s absurdity and absurd language situation, so it gives birth to the unique ironical art of Mr. Zhang’s novels.
