Social study is one of the national core curricula offered by America ' s high schools ,which is a collective body of history ,geography ,sociology ,economics ,and anthropology.The National Council for the Social Studies integrated the reports issued by the commissions of relative subjects ,and at last published its National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies ,in which much suggestion and guidance were made to the instruction of social studies in America ' s high schools.
