Since 1996,in order to further control measles,Guangxi annually identified the high risk counties and immunized children of 8 months to 14 years old there. The results showed that the times of measles outbreak had been reduced by 190,17 270 measles cases and 143 dead cases were avoided,as compared with that 4 years before the intervention.The total investment was 2.48 million yuan(RMB),and, besides, 27.74 million yuan(RMB)was saved.The cost-effectiveness ratio was 1∶11.
