This paper introduces a monitoring and analysis system used for welding developed by VB in windows. The PCL-818L data acquisition card and it's principle are introduced. At the same time, under VB development environment using the card's function to develop software is discussed. By means of system, welding parameters acquisition and other information obtainment are realized. This system is a powerful tool because it can be used for evaluating stabilization of the work process of welding and choosing parameters.
