This article introduces the general information and the importance of the English words , analyzes and concludes eight English words learning strategies for the college students according to language learning strategies. They are interests principle, repetition principle, understanding principle, willingness principle, preview principle, association principle, order principle, separation principle. The students can meet the words demands according to the college English guideline. In the end,put forward some suggestions on how to teach college vocabularies.
