Once a manufacturing process has beenestablished, there is a question about the capability of theprocess to consistently produce the products within designspecifications. By measuring and calculating the ProcessCapability index "Cpk", which is based on statistics theoriesand principles, and if acceptable values are obtained, theprocess will consistently produce products that meet thespecification limits.
