摘要
The density of three kinds of liquid steel was measured by a modified sessile drop method over the temperature range of 1803-1 873 K.It is found that the density of liquid steels decreases with increasing temperature and carbon content in steel. Both of the density and its absolute temperature coefficient of studied steels are smaller than the literature values of pure iron. The molar volume of the steels increases with increasing temperature.
