综观哈姆雷特性格延宕批评之得失——兼论哈姆雷特延宕之因

Totally observe the Gain and Loss of the Criticism of the Postponing Personality of Hamlet ——and Discuss the Cause to the Postponing of Hamlet

西方文学界对《哈姆雷特》的批评大多集中在对其主人公哈姆雷特的性格延宕的分析评价上。性格研究中有一个最明显的特征:总认为延宕是一种反常的表现,或认为延宕是这一人物的最大的性格特点。其实,哈姆雷特的延宕是其性格中渴望和谐与秩序而难以得到时,其旧秩序中的习惯性目光难以与现实巨变后的秩序对接,而发生的长时间的目光对接过程,这一过程便是"场外"的观众或读者的接受印象———延宕。

It is the postponing personality of the host of Hamlet that attracted most the concentrations of the critics in the western literature field. There is the most obvious characteristic in the personality research: it is totally thought that the postponing is an abnormal performance, or the biggest personality. The postponing of Hamlet, in fact, is the longtime aiming and suiting process of his sightline that is too old and habitual to be aimed and suited the fiercely changed actual order while he was thirsty for the old harmonious social order. And this process is the accepting impression of the audience or the reader outside of the field, that is, the postponing.
