The “rewriting' of literary history promotes research into the Chinese modern literary history,developing literary perspectives and theories of literary history. Among these,the understanding and discussion of literary “modernism' is an important issue that influences the study of literary history and literary perspectives. As a matter of fact,it gives rise to a new discipline called “literary history studies'.
