新中国成立后,刘少奇为解决当时中国教育面临的严峻问题,提出一系列教育理论。其中是两种教育制度、两种劳动制度和关于青年品德教育的思想,对中国当代教育产生了重大影响,为中国教育的发展规划了一幅宏伟的蓝图。尽管有些思想因"文革"到来而没有贯彻下去,但是这些理论对于今天,仍有许多有益的借鉴之处。
