关于翻译中“相异性’的最佳关联性解释

Accounting for the Differences between the SL and TL with the Notion of Optimal Relevance

作为跨文化交际的翻译,因为源语和目的语之间存在着关联差距,译者在翻译过程中,不可避免地遇到语言中的文化个性和文化缺省模式。本文试图从关联理论中的最佳关联性角度指导译者采取何种翻译策略去解决文化缺省的移植问题。并指出译者在译文中尽量保留原文的异质,并没有违背关联翻译理论关于翻译应该让读者用最小的认知努力获得最大的语境效果的原则。

Because of relevance distance across cultural communication, translators will unavoidably come across the culturally - loaded words and cultural default in the process of translation. The paper expounds that translators can be guided how to transplant the cultural default in TL with the notion of optimal relevance of Relevance Theory. What's more, the author argues that it doesn't violate the principle of achieving the greatest possible contextual effects with the smallest possible processing effort if a translator tries to preserve the foreignness and the local flavour of the SLT in the TLT as possible as h/she can.
