Being afraid of Japanese invaders and trying to curry favour with Japanese invaders, pursuing power and individual interest, engaging in speculation and profiteering, feeling depressed and contradictory, and self-deceiving are the common psychological features of quislings. Quislings are eccentric and deformed, disgusting and selfish, and weak and fragile.
