Basic Features of Modern Chinese Young People's Views on Value

当代中国青年价值观的主流是健康向上、积极进取的。在社会转型期,青年的主体能动性继续增强,个体形象的追求日益彰显,进取精神强烈,注重现实创造。同时,青年群体的价值观也呈现出不稳定、游浮性的特点。只有坚持正确的人生价值导向,抵制不良价值观对青年思想的浸染,提高青年个体的理解、判断能力和心理承载能力,才能引导广大青年追求和树立更高层次的价值观。

The main trend of modern Chinese young people's views on value is healthy and positive. During the course of social transformation, young people's activity keeps strengthening and their pursue for individual feature is also more and more obvious. They are full of the spirit of enterprising and pay attention to realistic creation. In the meanwhile their views on value are also more and more uncertain. Therefore we should guide young people to stick to correct views on the value of life, and prevent unhealthy views from influencing their thoughts, so as to enhance their understanding ability, judging ability, and psychological enduring ability. Only in this way can we guide young people to pursue and reach views on value of a higher level.
