从文学接受的角度透视《域外小说集》的译介

A Perspective of "A Collection of Foreign Novels" in China's Translation Circle at the End of Qing Dynasty and the Beginning of the Republic of China from the Angle of Literary Acceptance

在中国翻译史尤其是现代文学史上 ,《域外小说集》占有重要的一席之地 ,但它在清末民初刚出版时 ,并没有引起多少读者的关注 ,以至销路惨淡。本文以文学接受的角度理论为指导 ,从译介方法、翻译立意与选材等方面简要分析了《域外小说集》译介失败的根源。

In the history of Chinese translation,especially of modern literature,' A Collection of Foreign Novels' has its place. But it did not draw much attention of readers when it was published at the turning point from Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. As a result,it failed to sell well. The analysis in this article shows that the cause of its failure consists in the fact that ' the expectant field of vision ' it embodied considerably exceeded the capacity of readers' acceptance at that time.
