There have been various interpretations of natural beauty throughout the history. The critical step to reinterpret the beauty of nature in the condition of modern science and technology lies in determining aesthetic frame of reference. Only with that,can we establish the relationship between human beings and nature—harmonious coexistence and mutual development——as science and technology is becoming an alienated power,and reinterpret the beauty of nature. Vitality and freedom are two new interpreting perspectives. The beauty of nature is divided into the macro-and-micro sublime and realistic beauty in the scientific and technological lanhuage,the understanding of which can be deepened in the distinction from the scientific beauty.
