China is starting stepping from lower-income nation into medium-income nations. While the people's living standard is rising generally and the national wealth is increasing rapidly the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming prominent. The purpose of this article is to analyze the practical gap existing in the residents' income and draw the people's attention to envisaging the gap,and then, it makes some suggestions on the social security for the lower-income groups
